The Web Analytics Report 2008 looks at... Exporting data from WebSideStory's HBX Analytics

"If you're seriously considering using HBX for data export purposes, you'll want to perform a proof of concept to verify that the imports work with your data warehouse. One customer prospect indicated that the inability to export primary key data effectively was a deal breaker; another longtime customer noted that the product limits the types of SQL queries you can perform with the Stream Reporting APIs, and you cannot use the Active Segments as a filter on ad hoc data queries. These could cause you a considerable headache if you want to do deeper, ad hoc analysis. WebSideStory appears to be counting on the 2007 release of a new module, called Visual HBX to address these issues."

jboye08 in Denmark: Call for Speakers issued

19-Feb-2008

jboye08, the annual international web conference in November in Aarhus, Denmark has begun accepting speaker proposals. This is the 4th in a series of growing and energetic gatherings (cmf2005, cmf2006, cmf2007) and has now broadened in scope beyond content management to cover intranets, portals, enterprise search, web analytics, and Enterprise 2.0.

As one of the track organizers, CMS Watch will help to vet the speaking proposals. In any case, hope to see you there...
